Now grab the nearest anime fangirl/fanboy/whatever, the nearest game fan, the nearest Twilight/Directioner/Hitalian/etc. Now give them all a big fucking pat on the back because DIFFERENT OPINIONS CAN COEXIST PEACEFULLY WITHOUT BUTTHURT FANHATE BS. You know what? It’s okay to like different things. It’s okay to dislike things. It’s okay to share your opinions. But treat people like human beings. You don’t have to like their fandom, but don’t maliciously attack it or its members because -this is a shocker- PEOPLE WILL GET ANGRY. This should not be a difficult concept to grasp. Some people will be dicks and some people will get overly defensive, but who cares? You’re better than that. So calm your tits and realize that the internet is for everyone, and regardless of their interests, nobody is doing it wrong.
